A family business built on trust, integrity and flexibility, they have long term relationships with their customers and suppliers which has ensured their continued growth over the last 30 years. They now have a requirement for an experienced Invoicing Clerk who can bring their extensive knowledge and experience to their accounts and administration team. This company provides local and linehaul transport services as well as storage and distribution of dry, chilled and frozen products over three sites, they have a large fleet of modern prime movers and trailers and a workshop that services and maintains their equipment.

Due to continued growth they are seeking a dedicated Invoicing Clerk to join their friendly and professional administration team. Working closing with the operations team, the role is responsible for generating accurate, complete and timely invoices that capture all transport and logistics charges. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has previously worked in the transport industry and is ready for their next challenge.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Invoicing for over 200 customers daily;
• Liaising and following up with operations for POD’s;
• Liaising and following up with external on-forwarders for POD’s;
• Improving processes to ensure that every job is captured and invoiced;
• Running weekly reports;
• Issuing credits and adjustments;

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

• Prior experience in the Transport industry (essential);
• A thorough understanding of transport invoicing processes;
• An understanding of rates and charges for on-forwarding and cross docking;
• Experience in operations administration;
• A high attention to detail;
• High level of computer literacy;
• An interest in working within a fun and friendly team.
